BRE Ngambela Mukela Manyando says the move will help increase the number of children accessing education in the province.
This was before Ministry of General Education Permanent Secretary Jobbicks Kalumba went into a closed-door meeting with the Litunga to highlight the reforms.
And Kalumba has described the closed-door meeting with the Litunga as successful.
He has also disclosed that starting this year examinations for grades seven, nine and twelve will be conducted in November.
Kalumba has noted that the third team of the school calendar was short because examinations started in October, giving less time to learners to complete the syllabus.
