Miles orders Hybrid Poultry to remove chicken statue

Lusaka Mayor Miles Sampa has ordered Hybrid Poultry Farming to remove the giant statue of a chicken at the traffic circle on Great East Road.
Sampa said the imposing chicken sculpture contravenes the Council’s policy on advertising.
In a letter addressed to Hybrid Poultry director Huw Morris dated February 25, 2019 Sampa has given the company a two-week ultimatum in which to comply with the order.
