Pilato, other activists to launch yellow card campaign against continued closure of CBU

Musician and activist Fumba chama aka Pilato’ has called for a peaceful protest to press for the opening of the copper belt university.

In his Facebook posting, Pilato said police had been notified of the intention to conduct a peaceful protest and gathering on June 21, 2019

“We are raising yellow card to the indefinite closure of the Copper belt University,” he said.

“We are raising yellow card to the government officials who have continued to rob this country of its resources. We are raising our yellow cards to the president and his ministers for their lazy approach in the fight against corruption.”

Among the people spearheading this protest with Pilato include Maiko Zulu, Laura Miti and Guduzani Mwale.
