Police officers this afternoon stormed Prime Television in search of news clips for stories aired in March and April 2018.

According to search warrants signed by deputy Inspector Ngulube, the officers were looking for news clips of stories aired last year, on March 14, 2018 and April 23, 2018, respectively.

In the search warrants, Inspector Ngulube indicated that the clips which ran in the Main News bulletins depicted a Newstead Phiri and a Mr Joseph Mfula.

They ordered Prime TV to hand over the recordings for investigations as they are alleged to contain defamatory content.
