Distribution agency chairperson Muyunda Manyunyi revealed that relief maize was shared shared among the people of Sipuma, Simu and Mambolomoka wards in Shang’ombo.
Manyunyi disclosed that food for work had also played a critical role in ensuring the Shang’ombo-Sioma road was cleared of the bushes that blocked the road.
Manyunyi noted that due to low rainfall in the area the relief maize was not enough for the whole district and hoped that more would be sent to the area.
