Rehab works on Limulunga road starts

Rehabilitation works of the 17 Kilometres stretch of Limulunga road have commenced.
Deputy Permanent Secretary for Western Province Danny Bukali told ZANIS that works will be done periodically until the close of the rainy season.
Bukali explained that Government is committed to developing infrastructure through improved roads network.
He disclosed that AVIC International, the company in-charge of the main construction works of Limulunga road will get on site and commence the works as soon as the rain season ends.
He emphasized on the importance of the road, as it is the one leading to Limulunga District and the winter palace of Litunga Lubosi Imwiko 2nd.
The Deputy Permanent Secretary said that the road is an important one as it connects Limulunga and Mongu district.
And Limulunga District Commissioner Litambo Ndombo told News Day Zambia in a phone interview that the Limulunga -mongu road is the biggest task on the agenda of government’s priority.
Ndombo also disclosed that engineering constraints just hampered the road constructions but those obstacles has been overcome and all shall be well this year.
