CAF to inspect Nkana stadium ahead of Cup game – FAZ

By Staff Reporter

The Confederations of African Football (CAF) will this week send inspectors to Nkana football club stadium, popularly known as ‘Ichililata’ ahead of the Confederations Cup Group C match game against Al HilaI of Sudan.

In a media statement today FAZ general secretary Adrian Kashala stated the CAF inspectors would work side by side with a representative from the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ).

Nkana stadium is among the stadia on the continent that will be subjected to the Club licensing criterion as a prerequisite to hosting CAF inter-club games.

However, Nkana stadium has perhaps the most rowdy and unpredictable loyal fans in the MTN FAZ league.
