2021 elections ballot papers to be printed locally, abroad – ECZ

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has indicated that ballot papers for the 2021 elections will be printed both locally and outside the country.
ECZ Public Relations Manager Margaret Chimanse disclosed this to Q-news saying the commission would abide by the provisions of the law as regards competitiveness and quality delivery.
She said in procuring materials required to conduct a credible electoral process, the commission was bound by the Zambia Public Procurement Authority Amendment Act number 15 of 2011.
Chimanse added that the ECZ was also upgrading infrastructure in order to improve election management and meet international standards and the expectations of the people.
