Northern Province has attractive investment incentives in key sectors of the economy, provincial permanent secretary Elias Kamanga has claimed.
Speaking during the opening session of the Northern Province investment and tourism expo in Kasama on Monday, Kamanga advised investors to take keen interest in exploring the massive investment potential in the Province.
Meanwhile, Northern Province Minister, Brian Mundubile, expressed delight at the massive support from stakeholders for making the event a reality.
“The Investment and Tourism Expo being held alongside Centenary celebrations marking 100 years since the end of First World War – whose last gunfire was in Mbala, then Abercorn on 25th November 1918, presents a chance for a turn-around in the fortunes of the region,” said Mundubile.
Mundubile said his administration is confident that the two events will unlock the numerous investment opportunities in the province.
The Expo and Centenary was held under theme, Unlocking investment opportunities 100 years after the end of the First World War 1918 – 2018.
