Socialist party General secretary Dr Cosmas Musumali says the bourgeois political parties in the country cannot be a solution to social and economic problems.

In an interview with newsdayzamibia.com on Tuesday, Dr Musumali said the poor and marginalised Zambians have been receiving the Socialist Party message positively.

“Capitalism cannot save Zambia, the bourgeois political parties that are there today in Zambia cannot solve the problems which Zambians are facing today. We are getting very positive feedback today as Zambians have now known that their enemies are not even the political parties or people in those political parties but there enemy is the system that denies them of dignity and they are ready to fight that system,” said Dr Musumali.

And Dr Musumali said the party has also started the formation of branches with Lusaka province and they are rolling out the formations across the country.

He said the party has so far reached ten thousand people in Lusaka province.

“Lusaka has always been our entry point in terms of recruiting members, trainings and next we are going to the Copperbelt and continue with other province which have been having trainings with our members and areas were we have intensified our political trainings,” he said

Dr Musumali further said the party will continue working silently as they don’t want to create unnecessary noise.

“we would like to continue with our work silently and it’s not a disadvantage to us, we do not want to create the noises that will attract the unreasonableness of the people that we are dealing with who are in party today., it’s not that we are not working but we understand the environment under which we operate and the people we are dealing with today,” Musumali charged

Dr Musumali added that over the next months the socialist party will continue working under.
