Daily Nation Propaganda will not pull down HH – South UPND

Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) in Southern Province says no amount of propaganda will stop its leader, Hakainde Hichilema and the party from enjoying support across the country.
UPND southern province spokesperson Neto Halwabala said his party was aware that PF was scared of Hichilema’s growing popularity.
“The land in question as published by Daily Nation Newspaper is on title and HH as the property owner has a right to protect his land from PF cadres masquerading as government officials and selling land to the foreigners,” said Halwabala
He said the Namwala District Commissioner is a former street vendor and used to sell maize in Monze and stop misleading the nation.
“Our president Hakainde Hichilema has a very good relationship with the farmers in Namwala District and the former street vendor (Namwala DC) is just exposing her failure to know how people in Namwala District live as a united community. This is a problem when we have uncultured people in leadership whose main focus is to create division in a peaceful community and one such leadership is only found in PF,” he said
“And our timely advise to the former convict Richard Sakala, the proprietor of Daily Nation Newspaper: please come to terms that you are no longer in prison where you had no freedom of movement, go to Namwala District and get the facts if your reporter has no journalism skills to do so,” Halwabala challenged
He said it was sad to note that Daily Nation continued to publish falsehoods which is a danger to national development.
“We know that PF is promoting cadres to grab land from the rightful owner and to hear that HH has fenced his land is a big blow to their appetite for thieving, how many commercial farmers fence their land?” he asked
Halwabala said they have no financial capacity to go in the remote places of Zambia to check on farmers and how they fence their farms, they should go to Mazabuka-Lusaka road and see how each farmer is shielding the farm by fencing.
“Otherwise this is a problem if you don’t understand ranching (farmers keeping animals), the story in the Daily Nation Newspaper is mischievous and falsehoods from desperate political leaders”.
