The University of Zambia (Unza) opens on March 11 with a serious restriction on student squatting.
Unza public relations manager Damaseke Chibale announced Fridayevening that the institution had made remarkable improvements in water reticulation and sanitary conditions.
Chibale said in a statement that all first year and returning students at both the Great East Road and Ridgeway campuses should report for the beginning of the new academic year.
He stated that to avoid long queues, students should start paying fees online.
Chibale stated that online registration would also remain open until end of March, and April 14 was the deadline for late registration.
Earlier this week, Higher Education minister Professor Nkandu Luo emphasized that the  government had banned squatting among students.
