NDC youth tells GBM to show political maturity

National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed disappointment with Goefrey Bwalya Mwamba for practicing politics of character assassination.
GBM yesterday linked opposition UPND to the chemical gassing of people in the country. Mwamba who was UPND Vice President until last year when he rejoined the ruling party claimed that he had known about the scheme the last 5 years.
In a media statement, NDC Lusaka Province youth leader, Shimulinda wondered what legacy GBM, the Patriotic Front vice chairperson for mobilization would leave once he retires from active politics.
Shimulinda said GBM was so preoccupied with other opposition political party leaders without even attempting to speak to the many challenges facing the people.
“As youths in Lusaka we would like to learn from our leaders and emulate them. And one can ask, what can we learn from the likes of Mr. Mwamba? What is there to emulate from GBM apart from vulgar language,” questioned Shimulinda.
He said Instead of character assassination, Mwamba should tell Zambians what his failed party, PF has done for Zambians, if at all there is anything to point.
“It’s clear for Zambians to see that PF is a failed leadership, PF is a failed project and has got nothing to offer the people of Zambia, hence Zambians should vote them out, come 2021. As youths in Lusaka province we would also like to tell Mr. Mwamba to stop inviting our President Dr Chishimba Kambwili to go back to a finished party called PF,” he said
Shimulinda stated that Dr Chishimba Kambwili was NDC President in an alliance with UPND and other opposition political parties.
