Zambians are bleeding- UPND
By Staff Reporter
Zambians are bleeding under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu, opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) has charged.
UPND Secretary General Stephen Katuka said that there is no doubt that if given more time to mess up the economy, there would no country to talk about.
He bemoaned awarding of contracts to foreigners at the expense of the Zambian contractors.
“The hearts of Zambians are bleeding due to poverty created by Lungu’s irresponsible leadership,” he said.
Katuka urged the Patriotic Front government to correct the hunger situation currently ravaging the country.
Katuka accused the PF of being the most corrupt government to have ruled the country ever.
“The PF have destroyed the civil service, they have punished farmers by not distributing agro-inputs on time and they have made it difficult even for call-boys and marketeers to survive due to high cost of mealie meal and cooking oil,” he said.
Katuka said that it was time for PF to pack and go.
