46 year-old man short by his employer

A 46 year year old man of 22 miles area on great east road in Lusaka has been allegedly short by his employer.
Confirming the development to newsdayZambia.com this morning Zambia police service public relations officer, Ester Katongo said police at Ngwerere Police Station received a report of murder on July 17, 2019 at 12:30 hours.
“The same occurred on 17th July, 2019 at 03:00 hours at a  farm at 22 miles  in  Chokinga Village, Chief Mungule. Involved who was  now  deceased male Luckson Masebo Mugala aged 46 years of 22 Miles, Great North Road who was shot at by his employer male Botain Kalinda,” said Katongo.
“The shooting was  alleged to have happened when the deceased went out of his house to  check on pigs in a piggery while smoking cigarette  and the employer heard the noise outside and after seeing a person moving out he fired  using a Shotgun greener double barrel through the window  and later  discovered that it was his employee”.
She said the victim sustained injuries on the back and was rushed to University Teaching Hospital for treatment but later died.
Katongo said the scene had been visited and a gun alleged to have been used was retrieved while a docket of murder had been opened.
 Katongo says the arrest has not yet been made as the suspect was not home and  his phone was switched off.
“However, the accused person was contacted yesterday and promised to hand himself in to police today, ” she said.
