Police sumoned Muvi TV Journalist Muchima

Muvi Television news reporter and presenter Kalani Muchima has been summoned by police for questioning at police headquarters in Lusaka.
According to the sumoned delivered to Muchima yesterday, he was expected to report at the police headheadquatets at 09:00hours this morning.
It was alleged that Muchima said that police had supported the beating of Justice minister Given Lubinda by Patriotic Front (PF) cadres in his report which was aired on Muvi television main news.
Lubinda had reported thePF cadres to police for alledgely beating him and the suspects yesterday appeared in court.
The cadres are believed to have been infuriated by the decision to allow an investor to develop a place meant for a market in Kabwata.
By press time Muchima was still being interrogated by the police.
