Probe Lusambo – Kambwili

OPPOSITION National Democratic Congress (NDC ) president Chishimba Kambwili has called for a life style audit for senior Government officials.
And Kambwili has urged investigative wings to probe Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo for corruption.
Kambwili said the wealth that Lusambo had acquired was not commensurate with his income, claiming the latter could be extorting money from investors using President Edgar Lungu’s name.
“ It was sad that thieves and the corrupt people are being celebrated in Zambia. I’m wondering why most senior Government officials are scared with the life style audit. I have urged Zambians to unite and kick out the PF Government out of office in 2021,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kambwili accused Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya of corruption arising from the sale of drugs meant for public institutions.
“ Dr. Chilufya and Lusambo will be jailed for corruption once the NDC gets into office. I also challenge Government to consider reopening the CopperBelt University in Kitwe. The closure of Copperbelt university in Kitwe , and Governments decision to expel union leaders at the second highest institution of learning must be condemned,” said Dr Kambwili .
“ UPND and NDC will call for public protests if Copperbelt university was not reopened in the next two weeks”.
