Dr M’membe’s home raided by police

About 30 uniformed police officers this afternoon raided the home to Dr. Fred M’membe in Mwika Village in Shiwangandu District, Muchinga province.
Confirming the development to newsadyZambia.com this afternoon Socialist Party General secretary Dr Cosmas Musumali said the police officers broke the gate to the house and forcibly chased all people who were present.
“No search or arrest warrant was provided. They have currently occupied the house and are not stating the reason for their action,” he explained. “Onlookers are suggesting that the house is being vandalised”.
Dr. M’membe the up is Socialist Party 2021 presidential candidate was at the time addressing a rally at Nsansa grounds in Kitwe.
