Crime levels in Shang’ombo worries DC

Shang’ombo District Commissioner Lawrence Nyambe has urged police officers to continuously patrol the area due to escalated crime.
Retired Captain Nyambe expressed concern that lately there had been break-ins into government offices.
The District Commissioner added that yesterday unknown people broke into the offices of national registration department and stole a computer, affecting its operations.
He said the increase in the cases of robberies was costing government huge sums of money.
Capt. Nyambe appealed to residents to continue cooperating with the police by reporting any suspicious characters in their communities.
