OPPOSITION Socialist Party in North Western province has expressed worry with the shortage of drugs in government health centers in the province.

In a statement to Newsdayzambia.com, North-western provincial spokesperson Geoffrey Chikote said it was shameful to learn that government had run out of medicines in hospitals.

Chikote said places such as Kazomba clinic had run of basic medicines like panadol and aspirin.

“As Socialist party in province we are calling government through ministry of health to immediately supply medicine at the said hospitals to save the lives of people,” said Chikote

Chikote said the Socialist Party would ensure the health sector was prioritized when it forms government in 2021.
