PF dissolve Petauke committees after losing elections

Patriotic Front has with immediate effect dissolved Lusinde ward, Kaumbwe constituency and Petauke district committees following the ruling party’s loss of the Lusinde ward local government by-election.

In a later dated November 23, 2018, PF Secretary General Davies Mwila said all the three committees have been dissolved and fresh elections would be arranged by the provincial committee in due course.

On Tuesday, the ruling Patriotic Front lost the Lusinde local government by election to the opposition UPND.

UPND Nephat Banda polled 730 while PF Elina Tembo polled 573 votes.
