National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2021 candidate Chishimba Kambwili has charged that he will stand by any opposition political party leaders during the oppressive PF regime.

Speaking at Ndola Central police station when he escorted UPND president Hakainde Hichilema for interrogation by the police, Kambwili said there was need for the opposition to stand by one another in hard times such as the oppressive regime of the Patriotic Front government.

Kambwili said the unity of purpose should make it difficult for the PF leadership to willfully harass, humiliate and intimidate the opposition leaders.

“You touch one, you touch all of us, we have to stop this act by the ruling PF government by turning in numbers once one opposition has been touched, today is HH, tomorrow it will be Banda, the other day it will be Kambwili,” he said.

Kambwili has urged the opposition to speak one language and make sure that they fight PF’s oppressive system.

“Am grateful to be here with Hakainde and I will continue supporting my fellow opposition leader,” he said

And People’s Alliance for Change president Andyford Banda says it was disappointing that the PF government were using the police to harass citizens instead of addressing real challenges the people were going through.

Banda said the PF should not be allowed to divert from real issues by always intimidating the opposition’

“am happy to be here and stand with hh and as opposition we have to find a way of making a strategy in order to stop all these none issues, we need to seat down and discuss real issues which is affecting the people of Zambia and now a lot of Zambians are happy with the solidarity we have shown to our brother Hakainde,” said Banda.
