Kufakwandi was selfless – HH

Opposition United Party for National Development leader Hakainde Hichilema has advised politicians to place the country first in all their endeavours.

Hichilema said political leaders should be committed to alleviating the suffering of ordinary citizens as a responsibility of man to man.               Addressing mourners at the funeral service for the party’s late Sesheke member of parliament Frank Kufakwandi, Hichilema challenged government to complete projects he championed.

“Hon Frank Kufakwandi was a selfless and dignified person who was committed to serving people’s interests first. Complete the Livingstone – Sesheke road as a way of remembering the late lawmaker, something he advocated for among other developmental projects,” Hichilema said.

Kufakwandi was put to rest yesterday.
