Hamukale tells nurses to stop being rude to patients

SOUTHERN Province Minister Edify Hamukale has warned Livingstone Central Hospital nurses against rudeness towards patients.
Hamukale said it was wrong for nurses to have bad attitude towards members of the community, especially those seeking medical services.
“Am mentioning that there is need for patients and nurses to understand each other to avoid complaints of negative attitude by nurses,” said Hamukale.
And Southern Province Health Director Dr. Namani Monze observed that society and nurses need to have a good attitude towards one another for proper health services to be provided.
Dr. Monze said health personnel must admit to have been barriers for the community not to have better services because of their attitudes.
