Kambwili asks church to speak out

Opposition National Democratic Congress consultant Chishimba Kambwili has urged Christians to take keen interest in the governance process of the country.

Speaking during a Catholic church service at Saint Mathias Mulumba Parish in Lusaka on Sunday, Kambwili said Christians like any other citizens should speak out when things were wrong.

“The economic problems Zambia is facing also affect Christians, hence the need for people to be actively involved in the governance process of the country,” said Kambwili. “I’m commending the catholic church for the role it has continued playing in unifying the country.”
