Kapiri PF official in court for theft

A Kapiri Mposhi P F district official and three others are appearing in the magistrates’ court for theft of 28 rails slippers valued at over K40, 000 belonging to Zambia Railways Limited.
Chikalawa Zulu, 48, a businessman and Patriotic front district vice youth chairperson is jointly charged with Gillian Kabwe, 38, also a businessman, Owen Mwenda, 33, a patrol man at Zambia Railways Limited, and Humphrey Chibuye, 40, a charcoal burner.
The four are charged with two offences of malicious damage, and theft, contrary to the law.
When taking plea before magistrate Obrien Katyamba, the accused pleaded not guilty.
And magistrate Katyamba has granted the four K7, 000 cash bail each, with two working sureties in managerial positions.
