Mpulungu ward 21 in Mandevu mourn Kombe.

MPULUNGU ward 21 of Mandevu constituency today put to rest George Kombe, a gallant revolutionary and a founder member of the Socialist Party at Chunga Cemetery in Lusaka.
Kombe 48, who died on April 22 in Chazanga compound after an illness is survived by a wife, Miriam and three boys.
Socialist Party deputy General Secretary and 2021 presidential candidate Dr Fred M’membe bid farewell to Kombe.
Dr M’membe hailed Mirriam Zulu Kombe for being an active member of the party despite the long illness of the late husband.
“Go well Comrade Kombe knowing too well that the work you started, the workers party that you belonged to and the ideology that you stood for will continue,” he said.
“Today we stand at your humble grave, the graveyard for workers because of the conviction that you stood for. May your humble remains, the humble remains of a leader remain in humility and solidarity with the comrades who have since crossed in the realms of yonder. We wish the bereaved family God’s guidance and strength in the times of that nature,” M’membe said.
