OPPOSITION United Party for National Development (UPND) youths have resolved to fight for the restoration of the rule of law which they say has slid  into ruins under President Edgar Lungu.

UPND Lusaka youth information and publicity Secreatry Edward Sichali said any attempt to threaten the life and well-being of the UPND leadership and also growth of the party shall be met with the strongest resistance within the confines of law of Zambia.

“Any future threats of arresting UPND president Hakainde Hichilema or any other top leaders, will be taken serious always, as Lusaka province we profoundly commend all the youths for working together by faith and by deeds to defend the UPND leadership,” Sichali said. “We shall not allow a small group of criminals in political suits to hijack the good course mother Zambia has traveled just to enrich themselves through corruption and plunder of our natural resources.”

Sichali said the youths are proud of the efforts young people in Zambia were making to realize the dream of a better Zambia under the quality and different leadership of president Hakainde Hichilema.

“Further, we shall never trade our dignity for anything or be silenced into submission by the commands of criminals who have hijacked the good course of mother Zambia. The PF governance record is very nauseating.” Sichali mentioned
